Built for macOS

Always have that one window close by.

Peakr tucks one app window against the edge of your screen, then hides it away until you actually need it.

Works on macOS 14+ · Needs Accessibility access

Three simple moves

Stay in flow. Just move the window.

Peakr only touches the one window you pick. Everything else on your desktop stays exactly where it was.

01

Choose window

Hover over the green window button and pick Peakr, or just drag the window to an enabled edge.

02

Dock it

It snaps into a full-height panel. Grab the inside edge to resize it.

03

Shelve it

Click away, move your pointer off, or hit the shortcut. Peakr slides out of sight and waits at the edge.

Built around edges

A few simple rules. A lot more space.

Left or right

Pick whichever edge feels natural, left, right, or both.

Full-height panel

Fills the screen from the menu bar down to the Dock.

Quick shelf

A slim little arrow handle brings it right back with a hover.

Two ways in

Drag to the edge and pause, or use the green window button. Whatever's faster.

Keyboard ready

Hit Control–Option–S to shelve or bring back whatever's docked.

Safe restore

Puts the window right back where it was, exactly as you left it.

Shelf behavior

There when you need it. Gone when you don't.

Peakr can tuck itself away the moment you click elsewhere or move your mouse off the panel. Not a fan? Turn that off in Settings.

Respects Reduce Motion, or switch on instant transitions if you'd rather skip the animation.
Before you start

What it needs. What it does.

What you need

  • macOS 14 or later
  • Accessibility permission, granted once
  • A window from an app that allows moving and resizing

What to expect

Peakr moves and resizes the one window you pick, and remembers exactly where it was so it can put it right back.

It plays best with apps and windows built on standard macOS Accessibility.
